- Assigned workspace in our Toronto, ON office (3 days in-office per week)
- Company-issued equipment
- Hands-on training
Role Responsibilities

- Supporting the FX spot desk by managing incoming trade flow routed through automated systems — this is an internal, non-client-facing role
- Analyzing FX market data including spot rates, spreads, bank charges, and transaction volumes on a daily basis
- Producing data analysis and reporting on pricing performance, execution quality, and market conditions as needed by the trading team
- Building and maintaining datasets and recurring reports to support trading desk operations
- Automating reporting processes using programming tools to improve efficiency and data quality
- Assisting traders with ad hoc analytical requests related to FX market activity and internal flows
- Identifying trends, anomalies, or risk-related insights from trading data and communicating findings clearly to the team
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Programming experience required — any language considered; Python preferred but not mandatory
- Advanced Excel skills including formula building, pivot tables, and data manipulation
- Exposure to or genuine interest in foreign exchange markets, corporate trading, or financial data environments
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to work with large datasets
- Ability to communicate findings clearly to non-technical colleagues
- Self-starter who can operate in an evolving, fast-paced environment where priorities shift
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with FX concepts such as spot, forwards, NDFs, spreads, or fixings
- Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data tools
- Exposure to Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or other FX market data platforms
- Knowledge of risk metrics or P&L frameworks in a trading context
Benefits & Perks
- Medical, Dental & Vision benefits available the 1st month after hire
- Automatic enrollment into our RRSP plan (subject to eligibility requirements)
