Senior Product Manager, Partner & Growth Surfaces
About the role
Perch helps Canadians make smarter mortgage decisions. We're a digital mortgage platform with a nationally licensed brokerage, our own private mortgage fund, and a growing product team that ships fast. Now we're expanding our growth engine, and we're looking for a Product Manager to lead it.
You’ll own the surfaces of Perch that reach into the outside world: partner integrations and APIs, CRM tooling, realtor and partner portals, and the client-facing experiences that connect to them. These are the products that identify and convert qualified clients, create deep, sticky partner relationships, and compound our growth engine over time.
In this role you'll scope, prioritize, ship, and measure, working closely with engineering, design, and partners. You'll bring your growth instincts to the work, identifying where the acquisition, conversion, and retention levers are and the judgment to prioritize them. You'll ship with AI, using it to prototype ideas, synthesize research, and automate workflows.
Salary Range:
$130,000 - 150,000
Responsibilities
Partner & Integration Product
Drive the roadmap for Perch's partner integrations and portals and the API surface that powers them. You'll sit close to partners, understand how their business runs, and build the primitives that let them embed Perch deeply into their workflows.
Client-Facing Surfaces
Own and identify client experiences that sit at the top of the funnel, including landing pages, high conversion tools and lending powered experiences and the in-product touchpoints that shape first impressions. You’ll optimize the acquisition journey, not just the first click.
Lifecycle & Messaging Systems
Own Perch's client lifecycle messaging and CRM infrastructure. On the product side, you'll design and improve the transactional messaging pipeline, building segmented automation flows across audiences and journey stages, integrating them with product events, and iterating based on performance. On the business side, you'll equip sales and partnerships with the CRM tooling, event workflows, and outreach infrastructure they need to open new relationships and deepen existing ones.
Growth & Distribution Experiments
Run disciplined experiments in acquisition, conversion, and distribution. Clear hypotheses, defined success metrics, kill criteria. Scale what works, cut what doesn't. This includes emerging surfaces like AI-driven discovery and agentic search, where getting Perch in front of the next generation of homebuyers is an open problem were solving.
Requirements

Living and eligible to work in Canada

5–8+ years as a Product Manager with a track record of owning a roadmap, writing requirements, and shipping with engineering teams. You've been the accountable PM on meaningful product surfaces, not just a contributor.

Technical fluency. You read API documentation comfortably, understand data models, evaluate platforms, and manage system integrations. You bridge business requirements and engineering implementation without losing either side.

Experimentation discipline. You're fluent in analytics and hypothesis-driven decision-making. You've run tests, optimized funnels, and can point to measurable outcomes you drove.

Vendor and stakeholder management. You've managed external vendors, contractors, or agency relationships and held them accountable. You know how to scope work, evaluate proposals, and run a procurement process.

Strong communication. Excellent writing, clear prioritization, and the ability to bring structure to ambiguity across cross-functional teams.

Legally eligible to work in Canada and available during North American business hours.
Strongly Preferred
- AI-native working style. You use AI tools daily to prototype, optimize and experiment, not as a novelty or a way to obfuscate responsibility but as part of the way you ship product. You've built workflows, automated processes with skills, experimented with MCPs and understand how to leverage LLMs for product and growth work.
- B2B2C, platform, or partner product experience. You've shipped APIs, portals, CRMs, or integration surfaces where your users aren't the end customer but the partners distributing to them.
- Fintech, mortgage, or financial services exposure. You understand regulated environments and the nuances of working in one.
Nice-to-Have
- Familiarity with Intercom, Segment, Mixpanel, or similar lifecycle and analytics platforms.
- Experience leading a website build or migration (Webflow, headless CMS, or similar).
- Understanding of SEO, content marketing, or social distribution, even if you weren't the one doing it day-to-day.
- Startup or scale-up experience where you balanced strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Exposure to agentic search, AI-driven discovery, or emerging distribution channels.
