DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES

• Provide world-class food service to our guests to ensure a high level of satisfaction

• Present menu and provide detailed information about menu items and drinks

• Inform customers about daily specials and offer menu recommendations upon request

• Take food and drink orders and verify to ensure accuracy, using POS and tablets

• Effectively communicate with your kitchen colleagues to make sure orders are accurate and delivered promptly

• Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems

• Arrange table settings by setting up linens, silverware, flowers, candles, placemats and glasses

• Remove dirty plates, glasses, and silverware

• Clean and polish silverware and glasses as needed

• Pre and post shift duties such as restocking condiments etc. to prepare for incoming shift

• Daily maintenance of the bar dishwashers, ensuring that all chemicals and strips are stocked, available and being used properly

• Daily cleaning of the Jura machine on closing, and reporting to FOH Lead and Maintenance department if any cleaning tablets need to be ordered

• Maintain guest infused water vessels filled and tidy

• Follow and complete all Opening and/or Closing Duties on the checklists Follow all relevant health department regulation.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL

• Previous fine dining restaurant experience an asset

• Bartending experience an asset

• Experience with ResortSuite an asset.

• Smart Serve required

• Food Safety Certificate an asset

• Excellent presentation, listening and communication skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, team centric environment

• Required to work a rotating schedule including weekends and evenings

• First Aid/CPR Certificate is an asset

• Work within the established Health and Safety regulations Other duties that may be required to make Vettä successful.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Comfortable walking, standing, and bending over an 8-hour period

• Able to lift max of 30 lbs. May be required to work both indoors and outside on patios
