Position: Cloud Engineering Intern (May - August)
Department: Information Security
Location: 6300 Steeles Ave West, Woodbridge, ON
Hourly Rate: $19/hour

We are currently seeking a Cloud Engineering Intern to join our team. At 407 ETR, we are committed to providing meaningful work experiences that empower early career professionals. Our internship program is designed to support your growth, enhance your resume, and pave the way for a successful career. As an intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience, learn from industry experts, and contribute to real-world projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and approve cloud designs and deployments
- Assist with cloud deployments as necessary
- Communicate both with members of your team as well as members of the various teams in the IT department
- Enhance and support shared cloud infrastructure
- Develop and improve automated tasks
- Having fun while learning a ton!
Qualifications**:**
- Currently enrolled in a university/college program (e.g., Information Systems, Computer Science, Data/Analytics, Business, or related)
- Knowledge of Cloud services and concepts (AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of Python, Java, JavaScript or equivalent coding language(s)
- Knowledge of automated code build, test, deploy activities, using Jenkins, Docker
- Familiarity with text markup languages and data formats (YAML, JSON, Markdown etc.)
- Familiarity with using version control, i.e. Git, SVN, etc.
- Familiarity with databases, i.e. relational, no-SQL, etc.
- Solid communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Cintra Global S.E., a subsidiary of Ferrovial S.A. (48.29%)
- Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) and other institutional investors with non-controlling interests (44.20%)
