Job Summary:

Overview

The Associate, Direct-to-Consumer plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Disney+ Canada team, with a focus on cross-functional project execution.

This role serves as a trusted partner to the VP/GM, Disney+ Canada, while also supporting broader team initiatives across a range of business priorities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Project & Business Support

  • Assist with coordination of key initiatives (e.g., promotions, content launches, internal programs)
  • Support special projects and team initiatives as needed, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
  • Identify opportunities to improve team processes, organization, and efficiency
  • Provide support to team workflows and initiatives including tracking, coordination, and documentation
  • Assist with tracking and reporting updates across team priorities
  • Support coordination between internal teams and external partners as required

Team Operations & Coordination

  • Support day-to-day team operations, ensuring strong organization, communication, and follow-through across DTC priorities
  • Coordinate meetings, materials, and follow-ups across internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain team planning documents, and milestone trackers
  • Prepare and maintain trackers, status updates, and documentation to support team workflows and reporting
  • Support cross-functional communication with teams including Marketing, Platform Distribution, Product, HR, and Business Operations

Executive Support

  • Provide proactive administrative support to the VP/GM, Disney+ Canada
  • Support travel planning, expenses, and general administrative requirements
  • Act as a key point of coordination for internal and external stakeholders engaging with the VP/GM

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in a coordination or operations role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-through
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to anticipate needs
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

The hiring range for this position in Ontario, Canada is C$62,500 to C$85,900 CAD per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other variable pay or benefits, may be offered dependent on the level and position offered.
