GW Carlson is a Grade K – 4 elementary school that enrolls aprox 130 students. We are a diverse school community, with 35% of our students self-identifying as having Aboriginal heritage. Our staff works hard to provide personalized, engaging, and flexible learning opportunities for all students. We work as a team to provide the best instructional techniques and support for our students.

The starting annual salary for this Elementary School Teacher position ranges from**$68,492 to $118,751** with the placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Successful Primary classroom teaching experience.

Knowledge of and willingness to use, current best practices in education.

Familiarity with BC Curricular Competencies.

A strong team orientation.

Excellent planning and organization skills.

A desire to grow professionally.
