Analyst, Consumer Analytics

We are seeking an Analyst to join the Guest Strategy & Insights team and support our guest centric Commercial roadmap. In this role, you will serve as a guest data domain expert, responsible for leading the ingestion and integration of guest data to enable analysis, insights, and reporting, while ensuring analytical products and data structures align with the enterprise data roadmap and long term guest vision.

You will also oversee enhancements to guest data tools, including Consumer 360, acting as an integrator between Commercial business partners and technical teams to translate business needs into scalable, long term solutions. The ideal candidate is deeply curious, skilled in problem solving, and thrives in fast paced, cross functional environments. Successful individuals excel at transforming analytical findings into meaningful insights and fostering strong collaboration across the organization.

The role also plays a critical part in surfacing the latest guest strategic thinking to properties on demand via Consumer 360, including the development of new analytical tools and models based on business requirements. This role acts as a key bridge between commercial business partners and technical teams, ensuring guest data needs are accurately translated into scalable data products and reporting solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Ingest, validate, and integrate new guest data sources into the DataLake, two primary categories:

External Data (e.g., Epsilon, WealthX, and other 3rd party enrichment sources) Internal Data Not Yet in the DataLake: (e.g., new GGR Bespoke relationship mgmt data, Elite-CS Status, stay-eligibility flags, and other guest data generated by internal systems)

  • Reliable, high quality guest data is available as a single source of truth for both corporate (e.g., Guest Insights, CRM) and property (primarily Commercial Directors and PRDs). This foundation enables consistent analytics, new reporting (e.g., the ELT requested Best Guest Performance Dashboard), and streamlined, confident strategic decision making.

Enhance analytical models and tools in Databricks/Python to translate business built prototypes into production ready data products for corporate and property

  • Scalable, automated analytical solutions replace manual prototypes, enabling enterprise deployment (e.g., Property Segmentation, Source Markets Prioritization, etc.)

Maintain technical side of ongoing Consumer 360 enhancements backlog, including supporting the build/refinement of new modules based on business requirements.

  • Properties and Commercial teams can access the latest guest insights on demand, improving data driven decision making across the network.

Respond to property level ad hoc guest data questions and provide analytical support on Commercial KPIs.

  • Properties receive timely, accurate insights, increasing data literacy and improving their ability to act on guest centric opportunities.

Translate business guest-data needs (e.g. for reporting, analysis, etc.) into technical requirements, partnering with Data Engineering, Data Science, and BI teams.

  • Business requirements are converted into clear, scalable data pipelines, dashboards, and models, reducing ambiguity and rework.

Maintain the guest-data requirement backlog to document & prioritize new guest-data asks in alignment with TiD governance framework.

  • Strong visibility, prioritization, and cross functional alignment ensure efficient execution and clear traceability of work.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data product development.
  • Experience working with consumer and marketing datasets; exposure to hospitality or luxury retail is an asset.
  • Hands-on experience supporting the development and enhancement of analytical products, including maintaining requirements, documentation, and backlogs (e.g., Jira, Monday.com).
  • Experience overseeing or validating data ingestion, data integration, and ETL processes in partnership with data engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated experience building, managing, or supporting enterprise dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Consumer 360, campaign reporting).
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into analytical requirements, partnering with technical teams to ensure scalable and accurate solutions.
  • Experience delivering ad-hoc insights, KPI reporting, and data driven recommendations to business stakeholders.
  • Advanced SQL proficiency for querying and manipulating relational databases.
  • Expertise in data visualization and dashboard development (Power BI preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Working knowledge of cloud computing platforms, with preference for Azure (Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks).
  • Familiarity with data governance, data management principles, and scalable data infrastructure.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams, acting as a connector between business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong data-driven communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and a hypothesis driven approach to analytical problem solving.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis or basic machine learning techniques (Python, R) is an asset.

Key Skills/Who You Are:

  • Analytical Thinking – Approaches problems logically, evaluates information objectively, and identifies clear insights.
  • Collaboration & Relationship Building – Builds strong working relationships across Commercial, Data Engineering, BI, and property teams.

  • Business Requirements Translation – Converts business questions into technical requirements for engineering and BI teams.

  • Insight Generation & Data Storytelling – Produces insights that drive commercial decisions and guest centric strategies.
  • Backlog Prioritization & Documentation – Oversees and maintains clear requirements, tickets, and visibility across projects.
  • Ad Hoc Analytical Support – Responds efficiently to property and corporate data questions with accuracy and context.
