About the role
As a Plating Maintenance Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a leadership role within the Surface Metal finishing shop - planning, organizing, and overall maintenance of the entire plating facility and equipment which finishes, plates and coats metal articles or parts, to give them electrical or corrosion resistance properties.
You will report directly to our Sr Quality Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Cambridge, ON location.
You will oversee the maintenance of facility equipment to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will set up and monitor the uptime of the equipment in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production, and quality improvements.
