Sales Manager

**Full Time:**Permanent

Salary Range:$60,000 - $75,000 (+incentive program)

Position Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for**driving occupancy growth through strategic lead generation, strong sales execution, and community engagement.**This role works collaboratively with the Sales team to:develop and maintain a steady pipeline of qualified inquiries, convert inquiries into tours, and tours into move-ins.

The ideal candidate will have aproven track record in sales, lead generation, and business development,with exceptional customer service skills and the ability to build strong relationships. As a self-motivated, results-driven professional, this person willactively network with referral sources, attend community events, and develop partnershipsto generate new leads and increase visibility for our community.

This role is critical to achievingoccupancy goals and revenue growthwhile upholding the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

-**Manage inbound and outbound sales inquiries,**promptly responding to prospective residents and their families. -**Conduct engaging and informative tours,**showcasing the benefits of our community and creating emotional connections with prospects. -Follow up strategically with leadsto maintain engagement and move them through the decision-making process.

  • Utilize a**consultative sales approach,**identifying prospects' unique needs and positioning our community as the ideal solution. -Leverage CRM toolsto track lead activity, document interactions, and manage the sales pipeline efficiently.
  • Ensure that occupancy goals and move-in targets are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Provide**creative solutions for potential barriers to move-in,**such as financial concerns, family objections, or timing issues.

-Train and mentor team memberson sales best practices, customer engagement, and referral strategies.

Lead Generation & Business Development

-**Collaborate, develop and implement a targeted Sales Outreach Plan,**identifying new opportunities to generate leads and drive traffic. -**Actively network within the community,**building relationships with healthcare professionals, senior organizations, realtors, social workers, and financial advisors. -Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry conferencesto increase brand awareness and establish referral partnerships. -Host and coordinate Lunch&**Learns,**information sessions, and educational seminars to engage potential residents and referral partners.

  • Work closely withlocal businesses, condo property managers, and service organizationsto create new referral streams. -**Lead external outreach efforts,**including cold calling, direct visits, and targeted marketing campaigns to generate new business.
  • Stay informed aboutmarket trends, competitor activities, and demographic shiftsto adjust strategies accordingly.

Community Engagement & Events

-Develop and execute a community event strategyto attract prospective residents and referral sources.

  • Plan and hostopen houses, themed events, and family appreciation daysto showcase the community's lifestyle.
  • Represent the community atChamber of Commerce meetings, sponsorships, and local volunteer opportunitiesto boost visibility.
  • Partner with local organizations to participate inhealth fairs, senior expos, and charity events.
  • Ensure that marketing materials, presentations, and promotional items are effectively used to support event initiatives.

Marketing & Outreach Support

  • Collaborate with other Sales Manager to developtargeted campaigns

that drive occupancy growth.

  • Utilizesocial media and digital marketing strategiesto increase brand awareness, promote events, and engage with prospects.
  • Oversee the**Referral Program,**ensuring partners are educated and motivated to refer prospective residents.
  • Monitor website traffic, online inquiries, and engagement metrics to refine marketing strategies.
  • Ensure that**model suites and common areas are always tour-ready,**creating a strong first impression for visitors.

Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Maintainaccurate and up-to-date reportson sales activities, lead generation, conversion rates, and occupancy trends.

  • Analyze CRM data to identify trends, optimize sales strategies, and track key performance indicators (KPls).

  • Work closely with leadership toreview sales metrics, adjust tactics, and continuously improve results.

  • Conductcompetitor analysisand provide insights to ensure our residence remains a preferred choice in the market.

Qualifications & Skills

-**Proven success in sales, lead generation, and business development,**preferably in senior living, hospitality, or healthcare. -**Strong closing skills,**with the ability to convert inquiries and tours into move-ins.

  • Excellent**relationship-building and networking skills,**with a passion for connecting with people. -Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independentlywhile collaborating with a team.

  • Outstandingverbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency inMicrosoft Office and CRM systems(experience with senior living CRM tools is an asset).

  • Ability to work**flexible hours, Including evenings and weekends,**to accommodate prospects and community events. -Valid Ontario driver's license and access to a vehiclefor off-site business development activities.

  • Experience in a senior living or retirement community setting is a plus.
