JOB OVERVIEW

As a Plant Financial Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting financial performance and decision-making at the Belleville plant. This role combines financial analysis with real-time operational insight, helping translate production activity into meaningful financial data. You’ll work closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting, identify opportunities, and support overall plant performance.

HERE’S WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Analyze daily production execution and identify variances to support plant performance and cost control.
  • Prepare and process biweekly payroll, ensuring accuracy through collaboration with team leaders and plant partners.
  • Complete payroll-related journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Support month-end close activities, including account reconciliations, reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Assist with budget preparation and ongoing financial planning activities.
  • Analyze key PL accounts and provide insights to support operational and financial decision-making.
  • Partner with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to understand operational drivers of financial results.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities within plant financial performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels of the organization.

Preferred:

  • Experience with SAP and financial systems.
  • Experience with payroll systems such as UKG/Kronos.
  • Exposure to manufacturing or plant operations environments.
  • Ability and willingness to spend time on the production floor to better understand operational drivers.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Primarily office-based role within a manufacturing plant environment.
  • Regular use of financial systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Fast-paced environment with multiple priorities, time-sensitive deadlines, and changing business needs.
  • Opportunity to engage with production areas and cross-functional teams to support financial understanding and decision-making.

Salary Range: $63,440 – 79,300
