Job Synopsis
This part-time Administrative Assistant provides versatile, high-quality support across MCC Ontario operations, working collaboratively within an administrative team to serve multiple departments and strategic initiatives. Reporting to the Executive Assistant, the role balances project-based assignments—including policy formatting, communications support, and event coordination—with ongoing operational responsibilities such as managing internal communications, organizational archives, and inventory. The position requires adaptability, strong administrative and interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic, cross-departmental environment.
This role is based at 50 Kent Ave., Kitchener, ON with consideration for a hybrid opportunity after 3 months. Negotiable days and hours within our office business hours (8:30am – 4:30pm).

Prior experience supporting multiple people in a departmental setting

Key Responsibilities
Policy and Strategic Support

Format policy content applying best practices for consistency, and proactively manage the policy review calendar

Distribute reporting templates and consolidate content during strategic plan reporting cycles
-
Provide administrative support on focused strategic projects as requested by various departments

Support executive office needs, including mailings, board activities, and staff recognition
Marketing and Communications Support

Attend and minute bi-weekly Marketing and Communications team meetings and annual operational/program strategy meetings

Liaise with printers to coordinate print orders and provide required content

Format and polish documents to ensure clarity, consistency, and professional quality
Operational Support

Maintain MCC Ontario’s internal communication channel (Omnia) with timely, relevant content that strengthens organizational culture across a dispersed workforce

Manage organizational archiving using a standardized system
-
Maintain and order inventory of promotional materials merchandise, and employee uniforms
-
Develop and maintain an efficient sign-out library of promotional materials for staff use
-
Coordinate meeting and event logistics, including setup, breakdown, and catering as needed

Salary Details
Base salary: $31,121. The salary stated is an annual amount. This role starts on day one with a company paid benefit package.
