About the role

Who you are

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines without compromising on quality
  • Experience with data organization, documentation, or structured workflows
  • A degree in Information Science, Library Science, HR, or a related field (preferred but not required)
  • Familiarity with HR processes or HRIS systems (preferred but not required)

What the job involves

  • This internship offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on Cohere’s HR operations while developing skills in data management, system implementation, and cross-functional collaboration
  • As an HR Data Intern, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the success of our Rippling HRIS implementation—a project that will streamline processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance the employee experience across the organization
  • Real-World Impact: Your work will directly contribute to a major organizational initiative, ensuring HR data is accurate, structured, and ready for the new system
  • Skill Development: Gain hands-on experience with HRIS systems, data validation, and documentation—skills highly transferable across industries and roles
  • Mentorship & Collaboration: Work closely with HR and IT professionals, learning from their expertise and building valuable connections within the company
  • Assist in auditing and cleaning existing HR data to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Help structure and document HR processes and workflows for Rippling
  • Collaborate with HR and IT teams to identify and resolve data discrepancies
  • Support testing and validation of the Rippling system post-implementation
