About the role
Assignment:
- Full-time 1.0 FTE probationary teaching position
- Courseload to include Grades 7-12 Mathematics
- Duties will commence August 26, 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year
Qualifications:
- Experience teaching relevant courses as listed above would be considered an asset
- Preference will be given to applicants with experience teaching Math 30-1
- Passion for education and commitment to student success.
- Strong technology and 21st-century learning skills
- Assessment literate
- Ability to utilize varied instructional strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Strong classroom management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment and be a positive team member
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth
- An understanding of High School Redesign Principles, the Collaborative Response Model, and Differentiation would be considered an asset
- Ability to teach in a flexible learning environment.
