Teachers Teaching-On-Call

The Burnaby School District is the fourth largest in BC. Our District operates 41 elementary and 8 secondary schools, including a range of district programs and Provincial Resource Programs. Our District enrols 25,000 K-12 students and employs over 4,000 dedicated employees who are committed to providing all students with a wide variety of innovative, high-quality programs to ensure student achievement in areas that include academics, athletics, trades training, visual and performing arts, social responsibility, and leadership. The district also provides lifelong learning opportunities to more than 16,000 adult learners through our established Burnaby Community & Continuing Education program.
Burnaby School District invites applications for Teachers Teaching-On-Call to be part of a team striving to engage and empower a caring, inclusive community of learners for the opportunities of today and tomorrow.
Successful candidates will be teaching in a variety of schools and grade levels supporting learners.
**Required Qualifications: ******
- Bachelor of Education degree (Elementary or Secondary) including a relevant teaching methodology course; or academic equivalent
- Valid BC Teaching Certificate
- Practicum reports and/or teacher evaluations (if available)

**Salary and Benefits: ******
- TTOC Salary Range: $64,318 to $101,028 per annum based on Teachers' Salary Grid
- Placement on salary scale will be determined by years of experience and qualifications in accordance with collective agreement.
Upon hire, opportunity to sign up for benefits as per the Teachers' Provincial Collective Agreement. How much you pay for your benefits will be determined by the position you have and the fte (full time equivalent).
