Marketing Analyst – Markham, ON (contract for Maternity Leave)
We are seeking a Marketing Analyst to analyze market trends, revenue and expense performance parameters, customer behaviour, and the effectiveness of marketing campaigns within the purpose-built multifamily business. This role blends analytical skills with creative thinking, enabling you to translate data into actionable strategies that align with our corporate goals. The base salary range for this position is from $55,000 - $70,000 annually. The starting base salary may vary based on job-related knowledge, role complexity, skills, experience, and internal equity, with opportunities for progression within the range as team members grow and develop in their roles.
What you will do:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify industry and market trends, customer demographics, and competitive landscape inclusive of industry benchmarking.
- Utilize analytical tools to gather, interpret, and assess both internal and external data by way of qualitative and quantitative analyses related to marketing performance, occupancy rates, and customer engagement.
- Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders, including senior management.
- Work closely with property managers and leasing agents to understand their needs and support them with data-driven insights for property marketing.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop data-driven marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness and drive tenant acquisition and retention.
- Support corporate analytics initiatives by providing insights that align with overall business objectives and performance metrics.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.
Who You Are:
- Degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, or a related field (required)
- 2+ years of experience in marketing analysis, preferably within the real estate or property management sectors
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, including Power BI, Excel, and Google Analytics; experience working with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings to diverse audiences.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
