Job Description

As a Platform Architect, you will lead cross-functional Agile teams to design and deliver secure, scalable digital platforms built on Microsoft Azure. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, both internal and customer, to shape cloud-native solutions using Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and modern DevSecOps practices. With a strong focus on AI and data-driven services, you’ll help embed intelligent capabilities into platforms that are resilient, high-performing, and ready to scale. You will influence technical strategy, guide delivery across multiple initiatives, and champion a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and engineering excellence—while solving complex, real-world problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with executive stakeholders to understand business strategy, operating models, and digital transformation priorities, translating these into clear architectural direction.

• Define and shape enterprise cloud strategy, including cloud-first, hybrid, and multi-cloud approaches, ensuring alignment with business goals, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements.

• Create current-state and target-state architectures, along with pragmatic roadmaps and transition plans across infrastructure, applications, data, and security to enable sustainable, scalable transformation.

• Establish architecture principles, standards, and governance aligned with industry frameworks (TOGAF, CAF, Well-Architected).

• Architect hybrid cloud solutions integrating on-premises platforms with Azure.

• Design cloud reference architectures to address resilience, regulatory, data residency, and vendor diversification requirements.

• Select and standardize core platform services across clouds (compute, containers, networking, identity, data, and security).

• Ensure interoperability, portability, and operational consistency across cloud environments.

• Provide architectural governance across delivery initiatives, ensuring solutions align with enterprise standards, reference architectures, and target-state designs.

• Lead architecture reviews and design authorities, proactively identifying risks, resolving technical challenges, and guiding mitigation strategies.

• Coach and mentor junior architects, cloud engineers, and delivery teams, strengthening architectural capability and consistency across cloud platforms.

• Drive the right balance between innovation and discipline, ensuring platforms remain scalable, resilient, secure, and operationally sound.

• Design and integrate AI-driven capabilities using Azure AI services including Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Azure AI Search, and Copilot Studio, embedding intelligence into scalable platform solutions.

• Develop and maintain platform and solution architectures aligned with enterprise standards and business outcomes.

• Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, reference architectures, and reference implementations.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, providing strategic guidance on cloud adoption, hybrid IT, and digital transformation initiatives.

• Contribute to the creation of reusable enterprise architectures, accelerators, and migration frameworks, improving consistency, quality, and speed of delivery across engagements.

Qualification

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field .

• 1 2 + years of overall IT experience with 5–7+ years in enterprise or cloud architecture roles.

• Expertise in designing cloud-native and hybrid solutions using Azure services.

• Proven track record leading large-scale hybrid and multi-cloud transformations for enterprise client .

• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code ( IaC ) tools such as ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.

• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Developer Associate) are highly desirable.

• TOGAF or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification

• Consulting experience engaging with senior executives across multiple industries.

Preferred Skills

• Curiosity for AI and eagerness to learn as the industry shifts and new capabilities emerge .

• Adaptability to changing project requirements and evolving AI technologies.

• Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards such as NIST, ISO 27000, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
