As aBilingual Specialist,****Contentyou will develop, coordinate and maintain bilingual content for class action settlements and related projects. The role focuses on providing clear, trauma- informed, and culturally safe information that supports class members and communities to understand their options and take part in settlement processes. You will also support media and social media monitoring, analysis and reporting, identifying issues and opportunities, and recommending and implementing integrated content solutions.

This is a full-time, permanent position offered on a remote basis.

About the Opportunity:

  • Collaborate across Castlemain projects to develop high-quality bilingual communications materials (content briefs, web content, Q&As, key messages, fact sheets, video scripts, etc.), including French translation quality control.

  • Support reputational and issues management efforts by developing strategies and tactics to address misinformation, respond to emerging issues, and strengthen campaign effectiveness.

  • Monitor media, social platforms, and stakeholder feedback to identify risks, trends, and opportunities, while staying current on industry best practices and contributing to social media playbooks and guidance materials.

  • Deliver timely, high-quality work under tight deadlines, including crisis situations, while integrating culturally sensitive approaches that respect the traditions and values of First Nations communities.

About You:

You are an exceptional written and verbal communicator inboth official languageswith a strong understanding of culturally appropriate and trauma-informed language. You bring 3 to 5 years of experience in communications, public relations, or community relations professions and have:

  • A degree or diploma in communications, public relations, marketing, business communications, journalism, or equivalent education and experience.

  • Bilingual proficiency (English and French).

  • Experience executing communication strategies and developing supporting materials, such as messaging, PowerPoints, web content, print materials, social posts, and more.

  • Experience with media and social media monitoring and performance measurement to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.

  • Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.

  • Experience working with generative AI tools within defined governance frameworks, including prompt design, critical review, editing, documentation of AI assisted content, and respect for privacy and security requirements.

  • Ability to travel occasionally to internal meetings, client engagements, or community visits.

Successful candidates will be required to complete a Criminal Record Check as a condition of employment.

Compensation:

Starting annual compensation of $51,000-$69,000 plus rewarding benefits package. The offered compensation will take into account the candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.
