Position: Security Program Manager
Site: All Seneca Polytechnic Campus (North York, York, King, Peterborough)
Hours: Monday to Friday - 0900-1700 (hours flexible based on operational needs)

As Security Program Manager, you will serve as Paladin's dedicated on-site representative at Seneca Polytechnic — embedded across campuses and acting as the primary point of accountability between Paladin and the institution. Beyond day-to-day oversight of security operations, personnel, and compliance, this role is fundamentally proactive: you will continuously monitor service delivery across all Seneca campuses, identify gaps, and bring forward ideas that drive optimization and operational improvement within Paladin's service technology framework and in alignment with industry best practices.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise full-time, part-time, and casual security personnel across campuses
- Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and shift coverage
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and discipline
- Ensure compliance with procedures, legal authorities, policies, and contract requirements
- Conduct site visits to assess service delivery and resolve operational issues
- Act as primary liaison with client and internal stakeholders; address concerns and provide solutions
- Lead incident response, investigations, and reporting, including client disclosure
- Administer guard tour systems, personnel records, and licensing compliance
- Manage leave requests and coordinate staffing with head office
- Oversee security operations for special events and high-profile locations
- Track KPIs and support continuous improvement of training and service delivery
- Promote safety, accountability, and professionalism across all campuses
WHAT YOU BRING
- 3-5+ years in security with supervisory responsibility
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field
- Ontario Class G license with a reliable means of transportation
- Knowledge of Trespass to Property Act (Ontario), Mental Health Act (Ontario), Criminal Code of Canada — Section 494 (Citizen's Power of Arrest), Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms
- Demonstrated leadership and team management in a multi-site or fast-paced environment
- Experience developing or delivering security training programs
- Strong interpersonal, written, and client-facing communication skills
- Sound judgment and effective decision-making under pressure
- Ability to operate independently as an embedded on-site representative
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
