Position: Network Security Service Operations Specialist
Client: Financial Sector
Location: Toronto (Hybrid) - 3 days onsite per week
Duration: Six Months (Potential for extension)

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Network Security Service Operations Specialist to support and enhance security operations with a focus on automation, certificate management, and platform integration. This role will play a key part in maintaining network security infrastructure, improving operational efficiency through automation, and ensuring technology currency across security platforms.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with network security tools, automation platforms, and API integrations, along with a strong understanding of service management and documentation practices.
Responsibilities
- Manage and renew SSL certificates for network security platforms including Checkpoint and Palo Alto
- Monitor and support Threat and Security Services (TSS) to ensure system performance and incident response readiness
- Maintain technology currency, including upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management of security tools
- Design and implement automation solutions to streamline operational processes
- Develop and maintain automated change record creation within ServiceNow
- Configure and support XSOAR (Cortex XSOAR) for orchestration and incident response automation
- Build and manage API integrations between security platforms and enterprise systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security workflows and operational efficiency
- Create and maintain technical documentation in Confluence/SharePoint
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members on automation tools and processes
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Cortex XSOAR platform implementation and configuration
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or Java
- Strong experience with API integrations and orchestration
- Experience working with ServiceNow (including change management processes)
- Familiarity with documentation platforms such as Confluence and/or SharePoint
- Experience with network security technologies, including Checkpoint and Palo Alto
- Understanding of SSL certificate management and renewal processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced operations environment
