About the role
Our Division & Communities
Foothills School Division (FSD) serves the learning needs of approximately 8000 students from preschool to grade 12. We operate 22 public schools, an online digital school, an alternative campus, and three colony schools. These are located in the towns of Okotoks, High River, and Diamond Valley, and the communities of Blackie, Cayley, Heritage Heights, Red Deer Lake, Longview, Millarville and Foothills County.
FSD is located on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy and the first peoples of southern Alberta including the Siksika, Piikani, Kainai, Tsuut’ina, and Stoney Nakoda First Nations. This land is also the proud home to the Métis Nation of Alberta Region 3. FSD stretches from the city of Calgary's southern border and east of Kananaskis Country in Foothills County.
The Role
The 2026 Summer School Program will be hosted at Foothills Composite High School running Monday through Friday from July 2 to July 30. This role will focus on assisting and supporting students in their learning for all high school levels.
The Candidate
If you have an interest in education or are preparing for bachelor of education, we invite you to apply. Strong skills in high school level science and/or math are considered an asset.

About Foothills School Division
Foothills School Division (FSD) serves the learning needs of approximately 8,200 students in junior kindergarten (pre-kindergarten) through grade 12, and employs more than 900 teachers and support staff who are focused on our common goal of “Improving Learning for ALL Students.”
Located on the City of Calgary’s southern border within the Municipal District of Foothills, the Division encompasses the Towns of Okotoks, High River, Black Diamond and Turner Valley as well as the communities served by our Blackie, Cayley, Heritage Heights (DeWinton), Longview, Millarville and Red Deer Lake (south Calgary) schools.
