Full-Time: Accounting Coordinator

About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on Accounting Coordinator to take ownership of our day-to-day financial operations.
This role sits at the center of our finance function—working closely with our internal team and external partners to keep everything accurate, organized, and moving forward.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys both execution and problem-solving—someone who doesn’t just process transactions but understands how everything connects.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Month-End & Financial Reporting
- Prepare and consolidate monthly financial statements across multiple entities
- Ensure all bank, credit card, and account balances are reconciled accurately
- Organize and maintain complete month-end files (statements, invoices, supporting documentation)
- Support external accountants with reporting and inquiries
Bookkeeping & Transactions
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Pay invoices and track cash flow
- Reconcile bank and credit cards accounts monthly a
- Track and store receipts for transactions
Payroll & Compensation Support
- Submit payroll data for processing and ensure accuracy
- Review payroll reports and flag discrepancies
- Coordinate with external payroll providers
- Support bonus and compensation tracking
- Review group benefits payments and process monthly Group RRSP contributions
Tax & Compliance
- Prepare and submit GST/HST filings and tax payments
- Coordinate preparation of tax documentation
- Coordinate with accountants on annual filings and compliance
- Support WSIB reporting requirements (where required)
Financial Operations & Administration
- Handle internal financial requests (payments, transfers, reimbursements)
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies (missing receipts, incorrect charges, etc.)
- Support financial tracking across multiple entities
- Assist with annual reporting and allocations
What You Bring

Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance operations

Strong understanding of month-end processes and reconciliations

Comfortable managing multiple accounts and entities

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Ability to follow through and “close loops” without prompting

Confident communicator with internal teams and external partners

Proficiency with accounting software and Excel
