About the role

Accounts Payable Administrator - You are someone who pays strong attention to detail, enjoys working in a team and understands the importance of putting the client first. You are continuously looking for ways to improve our processes to improve both internal and external stakeholders’ experiences. This position reports to the Accounts Payable Team Lead.

Day to day

  • Vendor Payments: Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.
  • Database Maintenance: Maintain and update the vendor database.
  • Vendor Inquiries: Respond promptly to vendor inquiries.
  • Journal Entries: Prepare journal entries in Great Plains Dynamics.
  • Reconciliations: Prepare account reconciliations.

Specific Accountabilities:

  • Vendor Funding: Manage vendor funding processes.
  • Trade Payables: Code and input invoices for trade payables.
  • Wire Transfers: Prepare wire transfer payments.
  • Special Projects: Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Essentials:

  • Education: Post-secondary education in accounting or finance (degree or diploma).
  • Experience: Prior experience in accounts payable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with computers – Great Plains Dynamics is an asset; MS platforms (Outlook, Teams, Excel).
  • Interpersonal Skills: Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Customer Service: Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work remotely and independently, in a virtual team environment, as well as in-office in a collaborative environment

Applicable pay range:

$52,323.00 - $78,485.00

Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.

This position is subject to the terms of DLL’s compensation plans and policies. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are subject to eligibility.
