About the role
Essential Functions
- Aircraft movement on the apron, airfield, and the airline partner’s hangars.
- Responsible for the safety of aircraft and personnel while towing.
- Coordinate aircraft movement with the Unifi Leadership.
- Communicating in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
- Updating task status using Unifi’s allocation software.
Responsibilities
- Complete Pre-Operational Inspections for all equipment used during the shift.
- Ensure operational gates and parking pads are set up/taken down for all aircraft movement.
- Ensuring that you are in position and prepared to support the day of operation at the start of your shift.
- Provide and fulfill such other duties and responsibilities as required, such as ramp, bagroom duties, lavatories, waters, etc.
- Ensure all equipment is correctly signed out, filled up and returned to the appropriate areas at the end of the shift.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Must have aircraft pushback qualification as a prerequisite.
- Must have DDT license as a prerequisite.
- Must have a radio operators license (ROC-A) as a prerequisite.
- Must have a valid and fully cleared RAIC.
- Must be able to obtain brakeride qualifications.
- Must be able to obtain towbarless tractor qualifications.
- Must be able to obtain aircraft bridging qualifications.
- Actively participate in new agent development and provide guidance.
- Actively participate in your own development plans.
- Recognize and action challenges that may arise promptly and efficiently.
- Ability to work shift work, including weekends, AM/PM.
- Must be able to communicate by radio, telephone, etc.
