Human Resources Coordinator
Full-Time Permanent
Reporting to: Manager, Human Resources Programs
Location: Toronto, Ontario

As a leading luxury menswear retailer operating across Canada, Harry Rosen is seeking an HR Coordinator to join our growing Human Resources team. This role plays a critical part in the day-to-day administration, coordination, and continuous improvement of HR systems, programs, and communications, supporting Store locations nationally and the Central Office in Toronto.
The HR Coordinator is a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a strong service mindset who ensures HR operations are executed accurately, consistently, and in alignment with company standards and Core Values. With a focus on Workday user support, learning systems coordination, compliance tracking, and operational excellence, the HR Coordinator supports both Associates and Leaders and contributes to a positive, seamless employee experience.
Key functions include:
- Provide day-to-day support for Workday and HR systems, including user support, onboarding tracking, and system data audits.
- Support testing, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR systems and functionalities.
- Coordinate learning and development activities, including maintaining LMS content and tracking mandatory training completion.
- Maintain and update internal HR communications platforms, ensuring content accuracy and supporting engagement initiatives.
- Prepare standard employee relations documentation and support policy updates and distribution.
- Coordinate health and safety activities, including maintaining documentation, tracking certifications, and supporting compliance requirements.
- Administer core HR programs such as education reimbursement, employee referrals, onboarding, offboarding, and service recognition.
- Support disability management and benefits administration, including STD processing, leave tracking, and pension/benefit coordination.
- Ensure compliance through tracking of work permits, regulatory reporting, and maintaining accurate HR records.
- Provide recruitment coordination support, including onboarding documentation, announcements, and activity tracking.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent HR practices and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; CHRP designation is considered an asset.

Minimum 1–3 years of experience in an HR support or coordinator role

Previous experience working in a retail environment with high service orientation, and with an understanding of the unique HR challenges and opportunities in the retail sector, is strongly preferred.

Workday or similar HRIS experience required, along with advanced Excel and Microsoft suite skills.

Bilingual in English and French is considered a strong asset.

Exceptional customer orientation, collaboration and communication skills; proven ability to work with leaders at all levels, cross-functional teams, and all internal and external partners.

Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, problem solving orientation and operational excellence within HR functions.

** Compensation for this role will be dependent on skills, experience, and seniority. The starting compensation range for this role is $45,00 to 55,000 annually.
