Due to our ongoing organic growth, we are currently seeking a qualified permanent full-time InLine Inspection Project Manager to join our Project Management Team in Calgary, Alberta. The ILI Project Manager shall provide the ability to interact with staff in a fast-paced environment, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the successful project execution of ROSEN’s primary clients, delivering services worth tens of millions of dollars – on time and on budget;
  • Work in close cooperation with the Sales Manager to validate commercial, technical and contractual specifications (terms & conditions) for the assigned projects;
  • Understand customer specifications and ensure product and/or project are aligned with customer requirements;
  • Responds to project inquiries from both customers and the internal team regarding project related matters;
  • Provides early intervention support and guidance with the Customer's representative during planning and preparation phase with the aim of acquiring high quality data for the complete pipeline (includes cleaning, geometry proofing, and flow conditions) in turn managing client relationship to promote future business opportunities;
  • Look ahead to detect and mitigate project risks ensuring smooth delivery;
  • Responsible for the coordination of all internal processes related to project activities;
  • Provide project information for internal processes as well as managing and coordinating these processes;
  • Lead and manage the multi-discipline execution project team;
  • Inspire excellence in performance safety and quality;
  • Fast learner about new complex technologies, products, services, and requirements for effective delivery to clients;
  • Monitor project planning, progress, quality, cash flow and budget of projects;
  • Approve final project deliverables;
  • Project evaluation and identification of potential process improvements;
  • Timely, accurate and complete reporting on the project progress and closure.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualification or Skills:

The successful candidate should have the minimum qualifications and/or skills:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management (preferably in the Energy, Pipeline or Pipeline Inspection industry) is required;
  • Bachelor’s degree (within a technical discipline is preferred) or equivalent experience;
  • Demonstrated positive Quality, Health & Safety, and Environment attitude;
  • Outstanding leadership and team building skills; including the ability to interact with staff in a fast paced, multicultural environment, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient;
  • Must be proactive, able to trouble shoot and resolve issues as they occur;
  • Strong organizational skills; the ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities and changes with professionalism;
  • Ability to apply Management of Change (lessons learned);
  • Ability to implement and follow related company policy and procedures for daily operations;
  • Work independently, as well as within a team, in a fast paced, customer service driven team environment;
  • Superior written and verbal English communication skills are required;
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal and negotiation skills;
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers;
  • Must have valid work authorization in Canada.
