About the Role

CAA Niagara is seeking a detail oriented and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing & Communications team. Reporting to the Communications Manager, this role supports the execution of marketing campaigns, assists with brand and product strategy, and provides essential administrative support to the department.

The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in developing marketing collateral, supporting digital marketing activities, preparing organizational communications, and assisting with event related marketing needs. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, collaborative, and eager to grow their marketing skill set in a dynamic environment.

The expected salary range for this role is $50,000.00-$55,000.00. Placement within this range will be determined based on the successful candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Support

  • Assist the Marketing Specialist with the development and implementation of brand and product marketing strategies.
  • Support the execution of marketing plans, including basic media buying coordination.
  • Coordinate the creation of marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, posters, social media assets, and website content.
  • Learn and work with various digital marketing software and tools.
  • Prepare the monthly marketing update for distribution across the organization.
  • Create and update presentations and documents for meetings, events, branch displays, and product launches.
  • Develop a strong understanding of CAA Niagara’s products and services, including Membership, Travel, Insurance, AAPEX, and Niagara Airbus.

Communications & Events Support

  • Support the Communications Team at community and Member events.
  • Prepare mail files for marketing campaigns.
  • Take and distribute minutes during department meetings.
  • Provide general administrative support, including data entry, project coordination, and other tasks as required.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of online applications, marketing software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Creative mindset; graphic design experience considered an asset.
  • Highly organized with a client focused approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively.
  • Solid understanding of marketing principles and office administration.
  • Ability to write marketing content that enhances brand presence.

Education & Experience

  • Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of marketing experience supporting campaigns or content development.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience working with designers and writers on creative assets.
  • Proficiency with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with CMS, CRM, or project management tools is an asset.

Working Conditions

  • Primarily office based at our Thorold, ON location.
  • Frequent collaboration with internal teams and occasional support at off site events.
  • Occasional work outside regular business hours based on event needs.
