About the role
With one truck, a strong work ethic and an ardent sense of team spirit, Mike and Antonio Giampaolo established Triple M Metal in 1975. Now, more than 50 years later, we have grown from modest beginnings to become one of North America’s largest, privately held, fully integrated recyclers of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals. Our growing enterprise operates 50 facilities across North America, including Canada, the United States and Mexico, with additional interests in Europe. The Team Member will be responsible for inspecting, grading, sorting and processing of ferrous and/or non-ferrous scrap metals and maintains work location in orderly condition to achieve operational goals and objectives. This is a summer contract role; 1 vacancy.

Wage:
- $20 per hour
When:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 4:30pm
- Every other Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00pm
Role Expectations:
- Performs the inspecting, grading, sorting and processing of ferrous and/or non-ferrous scrap metals.
- Maintains work location in orderly condition to achieve operational goals and objectives.
- Use computer system to input non-ferrous material codes and weight.
- Completes yard tickets and provides tickets to customers.
- Process materials by breaking them down by commodity and removing all non-conforming material.
- Provides exceptional customer service.
- The successful applicant will be subject to a criminal background check.
Qualifications:
- Must be over 18 years old
- Applicants must complete a criminal background check with no adverse findings.
