Digital Marketing Manager

Remote
British Columbia
Senior Level
Full-Time

About the role

Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer

Location: Remote (Canada) A Day in the Life

You start your day by checking performance—HubSpot dashboards, site traffic, lead flow. One funnel is converting well; another needs a quick tweak. You adjust a form, refine a workflow, and move on.

Mid-morning, you’re inside the website. A corporate page needs a UX improvement to make the value clearer. A coach site needs a small update to better reflect their focus and location. You make the changes, keeping brand consistency intact while allowing individuality to show through.

Later, you resize a simple graphic for an email or landing page, nothing overproduced, just clean, clear, and effective. You jump on a quick check-in with the CMO to align on priorities, then dig into how evolving search and AI-driven discovery are impacting performance, refining what’s already in place.

In the afternoon, a coach reaches out with a website question. You help troubleshoot, apply a fix, and note a pattern that might turn into a better system or template later.

By the end of the day, things are clearer than they were in the morning. Pages perform better. Leads flow more smoothly. Coaches feel supported. Systems feel simpler, not heavier.

That’s a good day!

This role blends strategy and execution and is ideal for someone who enjoys building, optimizing, and getting things live in a fast-moving environment.

  • Collaborate closely with content writer, designer, tech, and coach success partners

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing or growth roles
  • HubSpot Certification (or strong experience with willingness to certify)
  • Comfort working across CMS platforms and website builders
  • A working eye for design and basic graphic production
  • Understanding of SEO, lead generation, and digital funnels
  • Curiosity about AI and modern search behavior

Why Focal Point

At Focal Point, clarity creates momentum. You’ll play a key role in modernizing how our brand and coaches show up online—while working closely with a small, collaborative team that values smart thinking, creativity, and action.

About Focal Point Business Coaching

201-500

Business growth is exciting… and overwhelming.

Focal Point Coaching exists for the leaders caught in that in-between place — where the business is working, but keeping it all moving is getting harder than it should be.

You’ve got customers. A team. A reputation.

But you’re also carrying it all.

At this stage, most leaders aren’t looking for more information. You need a clear head, a trusted voice, and someone to help you move forward.

That’s where Focal Point coaches come in.

We work with growth-stage businesses that are ready for their next evolution—not just to keep going but to build something more intentional, sustainable, and rewarding for everyone involved.

Our coaches come from the business world. They’ve been operators, executives, and team leaders — not just advisors.

They know what it’s like to lead in complexity — and to build something bigger than yourself.

Not everyone is ready for a coach.

And that’s okay.

That’s why we share practical guidance and tips — not just posts but tools to help you think more clearly, act more decisively, and lead with more confidence.

If you’re growing a business and want thoughtful, practical guidance without the noise, you’re in the right place.

Here’s how our content helps you steer through complexity: 🔵 Sharpens your thinking with real-world questions 🔵 Helps you make better decisions faster 🔵 Reminds you you’re not alone in what you’re facing 🔵 Shares lessons from business owners who’ve been where you are 🔵 Offers clarity without adding pressure

Because leadership can be lonely. But it doesn’t have to be quiet. Our LinkedIn is a place to think out loud, hear from others, and feel like someone’s talking back—someone who gets it.

When you’re ready to talk about the future of your business, we’re here. Until then, welcome to the conversation.
