We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Labourers to join our team to help maintain the Town’s recreation facilities areas. Reporting to the Team Leader, the Labourers are responsible for a wide range of indoor and outdoor manual tasks and will be required for events. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Manual labour duties related to maintaining change rooms and indoor facilities;
- Assist in arena maintenance, including maintaining the ice;
- Event set-up/tear-down assistance and basic security;
- Customer service;
- Garbage collection and litter control; and
- Snow removal.
Candidates will be required to work evenings and weekends.

What you Bring
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to qualify is equivalency to completion of high school education, plus the below:
- 1 or more years relevant experience;
- Ability to work in all types of weather;
- A valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license (non GDA) and with less than 6 demerit points and no suspension or pending suspensions, required;
- A positive attitude and self-initiative;
- A proven good customer service skills;
- Steel-toed boots and agree to participate in basic safety training as required.
