About the role
Summit Motors is seeking a reliable and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for our customers and plays a key role in keeping our daily operations running smoothly.
This position is primarily responsible for managing a high-volume switchboard, while also supporting administrative functions across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Customer Service
-
Answer and manage all incoming telephone calls in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner
-
Take accurate, detailed messages and ensure prompt delivery to the appropriate staff member
-
Direct customer inquiries to the appropriate department or individual
-
Provide a positive first impression for all customers and visitors
Administrative Support
-
Provide administrative assistance to various departments as required
-
Type and prepare documents, correspondence, and forms
-
Assist with spreadsheet work and basic data entry
-
Retrieve and distribute emails from the general company inbox
Office Operations
-
Prepare outgoing mail and manage postage machine
-
Mail monthly statements
-
Maintain filing systems, including parts, service, and warranty invoices
-
Operate and maintain office equipment (computers, copiers, fax machines)
Accounts & Systems Support
-
Process customer payments (cash, credit card, and cheque)
-
Use internal systems (e.g. DSI) to locate customer accounts, print invoices, and access statements
General Office & Facility Support

Order and maintain office and coffee room supplies
-
Ensure common areas (front desk, counters, coffee areas) are clean and well-maintained
-
Prepare fresh coffee and maintain a welcoming front office environment
What We're Looking For
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle a high volume of phone calls efficiently
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- Able to multitask and support multiple departments
