About the role

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for delivering high‑quality, end‑to‑end recruitment execution to support MEMS’ operational and strategic workforce needs. Working in close partnership with the HR Generalist and People & Culture Business Partners, this role ensures recruiting activities are timely, compliant, value-aligned, and provide a strong candidate and hiring manager experience.

This role is execution‑focused and supports hiring across multiple business units, while contributing to continuous improvement of recruitment tools, processes, and market insight. The Specialist operates with a strong service mindset and applies consistent standards that reflect MEMS’ commitment to Service, Quality, Trust, Innovation, and Teamwork. This position also supports and provides administrative support across all People & Culture functional areas.

Objectives

  • Ensure timely, accurate, and high‑quality recruitment execution across MEMS.
  • Deliver consistent, values‑aligned candidate and onboarding experiences.
  • Support Talent Management processes and maintain strong data management practices.
  • Contribute to the overall effectiveness, scalability, and service quality of the People & Culture function.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition Operations

  • Execute end‑to‑end recruitment processes, including job intake, posting strategy, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, reference checks, and offer support.
  • Partner closely with Service Group Managers/Directors and People & Culture Business Partners to align recruitment activity with workforce plans, role requirements, internal equity, and compliance considerations.
  • Maintain strong recruitment cadence, communication, and follow‑through with candidates, hiring leaders, and HR partners.
  • Support hiring across technical, operational, and corporate roles under guidance from Senior TA or P&C leadership as required.

Sourcing & Market Support

  • Conduct proactive sourcing using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and local market networks to build qualified candidate pools.
  • Screen candidates against established criteria and values alignment, escalating complex or sensitive situations to Senior TA or Business Partners.
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion objectives through consistent and fair hiring practices.

Candidate & Hiring Manager Experience

  • Deliver a professional, responsive, and values‑based candidate experience from first interaction through offer acceptance.
  • Support hiring managers by coordinating interviews, providing guidance on recruitment steps, and ensuring clarity of process.
  • Model MEMS values in all interactions, building trust and credibility with internal and external stakeholders.

Onboarding Coordination

  • Partner with People & Culture Business Partners, IT, Payroll, HSEC, and Administration to support smooth onboarding execution.
  • Ensure required documentation, HRIS entries, and onboarding tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Identify opportunities to improve onboarding flow, communication, and coordination across teams.

Data, Systems & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain accurate recruitment data in UKG and related systems.

  • Track recruitment metrics such as time‑to‑fill, pipeline health, and candidate outcomes to support reporting and improvement initiatives.

  • Contribute ideas that improve recruitment efficiency, candidate experience, and service delivery—escalating strategic recommendations through Senior TA or P&C leadership.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience with exposure to the full employee lifecycle.
  • Experience in consulting environments preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS systems preferred.

Other Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Ability to coordinate programs, facilitate sessions, and work across multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, with sound judgment on when to escalate or seek guidance.

Working Conditions

This position is in a professional office environment in which some travel may be required for recruitment support.

Work does involve prolonged periods of sitting, working at a desk, and using a computer, keyboard, and related office technology. The role requires the ability to focus for extended periods, manage multiple priorities, and participate in meetings both in‑person and via virtual platforms. Periods of extended hours during major pursuits or strategic programs.

Manual dexterity is required to operate computers, peripherals, and other standard office equipment. The position may occasionally require extended hours, varying shifts, including the occasional evening and for critical project milestones. Required to walk, stand, climb, bend forward, kneel down, crawl, reach and grasp, push and pull objects, lift and/or move up to 30 kg, sometimes over the shoulders, repetitive bending and lifting of items, along with repetitive arm movements.
