About the Role

We’re looking for a Product Lifecycle Management Analyst to join our Merchandising team and support effective product lifecycle decision making. In this role, you’ll analyze SKU performance, maintain accurate tracking models, and collaborate across teams to manage inventory and product transitions.

The Product Lifecycle Management Analyst will lead the monthly Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) workflow, ensuring tasks are completed on time, risks are identified early, and decisions are supported by clear, data driven insights. The role also contributes to process improvements, supports audits, and builds strong working relationships with internal partners and Licensed Producers.

About Your Day

  • Analyze monthly SKU performance against benchmarks and identify variances, trends, and emerging issues.
  • Build, maintain, and manage accurate monthly Excel based tracking models.
  • Monitor system data to proactively identify and escalate data integrity issues.
  • Lead monthly cross functional Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) meetings, using analytics to support decision making and approvals.
  • Support SKU forecasting, PLM process enhancements, and other lifecycle related analyses.
  • Own and execute the end to end monthly Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) workflow across all fulfillment types.
  • Develop and publish monthly PLM workback schedules that reflect cross functional dependencies and priorities.
  • Act as a key point of contact for Licensed Producers (LPs), providing timely, data driven responses.
  • Monitor inventory levels and partner with Supply Chain, Finance, and Logistics to manage RTVs and product transitions with minimal disruption.
  • Maintain and enhance PLM standard operating procedures and policies.
  • Track task progress and ensure timelines are met through proactive communication and issue resolution.
  • Communicate key decisions, updates, risks, and changes to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Identify risks and opportunities impacting broader business objectives.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing and providing required documentation.
  • Recommend and implement continuous improvements to lifecycle management processes.
  • Provide analytical and operational support to broader Merchandise Operations initiatives as needed.

About You

  • Post secondary education in Business, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting projects, programs, or business operations.
  • Experience in retail merchandising, CPG, or a regulated industry is preferred.
  • Experience working in a program management or fast paced professional environment is an asset.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship building skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, with experience using SharePoint and Forms preferred.

About the Job

  • Location: Toronto, ON near York Mills and Yonge Street
  • Hours of Work: 36.25 a week
  • Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
  • Required Travel: Rare, usually within the GTA
  • Internally the role is titled Financial Analyst, Merchandising*

Compensation

The target hiring range for this position is $75,000- $85,000. This is a pay grade 5B role, with a salary range of $61,291.58- $93,437.08. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.

The Ontario Cannabis Store is a Crown agency solely owned by the Province of Ontario and reporting to the Ministry of Finance.

The OCS provides safe, responsible access to legal recreational cannabis for adults 19 and older. We are Ontario’s sole wholesaler to more than 1,500 Authorized Cannabis Stores. The OCS also operates OCS.ca, the Province’s online cannabis retailer which delivers to consumers in every corner of Ontario.

We make sure our customers only receive legal, clearly labelled cannabis products by working closely with a diverse group of Licensed Producers authorized by Health Canada. Our online store prioritizes education and provides many opportunities for both new and experienced consumers to learn more about cannabis and responsible use.
