The Corporate Tax Analyst will collaborate with Canadian and U.S. tax teams to support end‑to‑end tax compliance, transfer pricing, and financial reporting activities. The role will also deliver financial and tax analysis to support broader corporate strategies and initiatives.

What you'll do:

  • Preparation of, and/or assistance with the preparation of, tax returns and associated supporting working papers, working closely with tax team members, to support accurate and timely Canadian and U.S. statutory tax compliance (including income taxes and indirect sales tax).
  • Preparation of and/or assistance with various tax-related filings and remittances (e.g. excise taxes) for related entities within the corporate group.
  • Assist with the transfer pricing reporting process, transactional analysis, and accurate reporting of disclosures.
  • Assist with tax-related financial reporting (e.g. the corporate tax provisions).
  • Assist with the review of contracts and transactions for tax implications.
  • Assist with the conduct of tax research, technical positioning, and documentation of tax related matters.
  • Assist with the provision of support to the business for all income and indirect sales tax matters, including responding to ad-hoc tax-related queries from internal sources.
  • Assist with the tax audit process.
  • Assist with internal business change in support of process improvements (e.g. automation of tax-related processes).
  • Various other tax compliance related duties as assigned.

What you have:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a Tax Accountant or Tax Analyst type role, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a role with substantial Canadian and US Tax exposure is considered an asset.
  • Possess a strong level of Microsoft office and Excel skills and the ability to navigate general ledger systems.
  • Well-developed with interpersonal and communication skills, including business writing and presentation skills.
  • Highly motivated and a proactive learner with a keen interest in expanding tax knowledge.
  • A detail-oriented team-player that takes ownership of activities and responsibilities.
  • A person with a high level of integrity and accountability.
  • Able to prioritize and exercise sound judgement.
  • A critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A person with time-management and organizational skills
  • Able to collaborate with a diverse set of colleagues across the organization.
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment while meeting both internal and external deadlines
  • Actively pursuing, or in possession of, a CPA designation, is considered an asset

The typical hiring range for this position is $62,000 - $80,000 annually complemented by a bonus plan; the base pay is determined by market location and job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
