About the role
The IT Support Analyst will support computer, network systems, hardware and software components to ensure high levels of availability and compliance as well as demonstrate excellent customer service. This individual also participates in the day to day operational activities to support the IT department activities and the end users requirements.
Responsibilities
- Participate in and support capacity planning and the development of long-term strategic goals for systems and software in conjunction with end-users, IT Administrator and department manager.
- Provide first level support (phone or in person) to users in day to day issues with computer components and systems for all different Liebherr Canada locations.
- Deploy workstations, printers, peripherals, software (including factory applications) and any other network components.
- Coordinate activities with IT Team located in Burlington, ON, and report any issues, problems, risk or point of attention for proper resolution/escalation. Interact with Liebherr International IT groups in the escalation of IT related support requests.
- Support and troubleshoot incident management and problem resolution for end users operating systems, applications and software, workstation connectivity, local area networks and Internet applications.
- Administer end user accounts maintenance, permissions, access rights, in accordance with best-practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in network and security audits from Central IT and implement recommended changes and remedial and preventive actions.
- Anticipate, mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software problems on printers, and workstations. Escalate incidents as necessary.
- Participate in the asset administration, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
- Support Project Execution activities with vendors, outsources, and contractors as requested and coordinated by IT Management
- Follow procedures and policies for system administration and IT management defined by the IT Department.
Competencies
- 3 to 5 years of experience as an IT Support Analyst
- Personal Organization
- Initiative, proactivity and being customer-centric are key aspects of this position
- Previous experience with use of an ITSM (TOPdesk, ServiceNOW) is an asset
- Previous experience with SCCM is an asset
- Experience with MS Office, MS Teams, MS Copilot
