**We currently have over 150 childcares centres across Canada & the USA and are constantly expanding;**come and grow within the company!
We are currently looking to hire two educators for split shifts at our Websters Corner location:
- Shift 1: 7:00 a.m.–8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.–5:30 p.m.
- Shift 2: 7:30 a.m.–8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.–4:30 p.m.
In addition, we are also looking to hire on-call supply staff at our Little Willows locations:
Responsibilities
- Maintain documentation, reporting and record keeping
- Implement a Reggio Emilia approach to learning
- Support children’s emotional, physical, or behavioural well being; while helping to develop their social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills
- Maintain attendance, and health and safety checks
- Work with professionals, such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists as necessary
- Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms
- Participate and interact in team meetings and workshops
Specifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels with children, parents and co-workers.
- Ability to utilize computer systems for all documentation, reporting, and classroom operations
- Strong collaborator and team player
- Ability to take initiative in and out of the classroom
- Strong problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- British Columbia ECE/IT License
- Criminal Record Check
- Valid Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR
- Immunizations up to date
- Ability to push, pull and lift up- to 45 pounds
