About the role

Cocotte Bistro is looking for a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join its kitchen team. Reporting to the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, the Chef de Partie is responsible for managing a specific kitchen station while ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency in food preparation and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage a designated kitchen station during service
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to Cocotte Bistro’s standards
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all plates
- Assist with daily mise en place and prep planning
- Support junior cooks and contribute to a positive kitchen environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth service
- Contribute to menu execution and continuous improvement of recipes
Profile Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Line Cook ready to step up
- Solid culinary techniques and understanding of classic cooking methods
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Passion for quality ingredients and execution
- Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Culinary diploma or equivalent experience (an asset)
