Groundskeeping Staff (Seasonal) Port Hope Golf & Country Club – Port Hope, ON Pay Rate:$17.60 – $18.00 per hour

We are currently seeking reliable and hardworkingGroundskeeping Staffto join our team.
This role requires availability for various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
About the Role
Groundskeeping Staff are responsible for assisting with the daily maintenance and upkeep of the golf course and surrounding grounds to ensure exceptional playing conditions and overall course presentation.
You’ll play an important role in maintaining the beauty, safety, and functionality of the property.
Key Responsibilities
Course Maintenance & Equipment Operation
- Perform routine manual labour involved in golf course maintenance
- Pre-inspect all machines prior to use and report any issues directly to the mechanic or supervisor
- Operate various types of mowing equipment and light-duty vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
- Operate leaf blowers, trimmers, and other landscaping tools
- Assist with bunker maintenance, raking, course setup, and general turf care
- Support tournament and event course preparation
Safety & Professional Conduct
- Comply with all policies, procedures, and safety practices at all times
- Maintain a respectful approach with golf members, guests, and coworkers, interacting in a courteous and helpful manner
- Communicate course or equipment concerns to supervisors
Experience & Qualifications
- No experience required — training will be provided
- Previous landscaping or golf course maintenance experience is an asset
- Ability to perform physical job functions during all weather conditions
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Must be available to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
