What You’ll Do
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Calgary, Alberta team. This role supports a range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and focused on creating positive employee experience.
With offices in Canada, USA, Australia, and India, this role offers the opportunity to collaborate with global teams and support an international workforce.
You will assist with HR operations, including maintaining employee records, supporting recruitment and onboarding, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new employees
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, benefits, and programs
- Process employee documentation, including agreements, benefits enrollment, and terminations
- Track employee data, including attendance and leave management
- Support employee relations and escalate issues when required
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation
- Support training and employee engagement initiatives
- Research and complete grant applications
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team
- WCB/WorkSafe and P. Eng/PE administration and reporting
About You
You have 3–5 years of HR experience and bring: A bachelor’s degree or certificate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong understanding of HR practices and employment legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organization and time-management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRM Software (ADP Workforce)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in an EPCM or engineering environment

International HR exposure across Canada, USA, Australia, and India is considered a strong asset
