Job Overview:
As a Production Helper, you will play a crucial role in our plastic pallet manufacturing operations. Your responsibilities will include assisting machine operators, handling materials, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role requires a valid forklift license and involves tasks such as cleaning and managing loose plastic materials.
Key Responsibilities:
-**Assist Machine Operators:**Support machine operators by preparing materials, loading and unloading components, and ensuring machinery is stocked and functioning properly. -**Material Handling:**Operate forklifts (if licensed) to transport raw materials and finished plastic pallets within the facility. Ensure proper storage and handling. -**Production Support:**Conduct routine tasks including inspecting and sorting plastic materials, assisting with product assembly, and packaging finished pallets. -**Cleaning and Shoveling:**Regularly clean and shovel loose plastic materials from the production area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. -**Safety Compliance:**Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. -**Cleanliness:**Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area, including the proper disposal of waste materials and debris. -**Documentation:**Accurately record production activities, material usage, and any incidents or discrepancies during shifts. -**Additional Tasks:**Perform any additional duties assigned by the Shift Supervisor or Plant Supervisor to support production goals and operational needs.
Qualifications:
-**Educational Requirements:**High school diploma or equivalent. -**Experience:**Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous but not required. -**Forklift License:**A valid forklift license is mandatory. -Skills:
- Basic understanding of production processes, particularly in plastic pallet manufacturing.
- Ability to assist with machine operation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good physical stamina and capability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
- Experience or willingness to handle and clean loose plastic materials.
