POSITION SUMMARY
As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, this position will be responsible for ensuring our buses adhere and comply with our Internal Quality Control System.
Requirements
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Responsible for identifying quality and process gaps and non-conformance issues
- In-process inspection of production, fabricated and purchased materials
- Final inspection of buses for delivery, investigate and communicate internally and externally on non-conformance issues and find resolutions to issues
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Ability to read blueprints and use a variety of precision testing and measuring instruments
- Experience understanding and applying quality systems to drive and sustain improvements
- Have great interpersonal, communication, problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Clear understanding of the bill of materials as it relates to product completion
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel and Word
- Previous experience working with Oracle database system would be considered an asset
- NDT certification would be considered an asset
- Ability to work rotating shifts
