The Toronto office is seeking full-time student engineers to join our Municipal team. This contract position will begin in May 2026 and may be extended for up to one year, depending on the student’s program requirements and project work available at that time.
Duties
- Assist in pre-engineering site surveys and inspection during construction.
- Design of roads, rail, sewers, watermains and municipal infrastructure projects.
- Help prepare AutoCAD/MicroStation design drawings.
- Provide office support during the construction stage of projects.
- Assist with quantity calculations and preparing tender documents.
- Aid the RVA team to ensure quality project delivery to our clients.
- In office 5 days per week for RVA core hours - 8am to 5pm
Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in a third or fourth-year Civil Engineering program at an accredited University.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD/MicroStation is an asset.
- Demonstrates superior communication skills - both oral and written.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in an interactive team atmosphere.
- Must have a valid Class G Driver’s License and access to a vehicle.
Compensation Range The salary range for this position is: $25-$30/hour
Compensation for this role will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business needs.
