About the role

We are seeking an individual with excellent communication and leadership skills to join the company’s Accounting and Finance Department. Charger logistics invests time and support into its employees to provide them with the room to learn and grow their expertise and work their way up. We are entrepreneurial-minded organization that welcomes and support individual idea and strategies. We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based at our Brampton office.

Responsibilities

  • Calculate and process driver payroll accurately and on time
  • Review trip data, logs, and supporting documents to ensure correct driver compensation
  • Maintain payroll records and update driver pay information as required
  • Assist with basic accounting tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies or driver pay inquiries
  • Work closely with dispatch and operations teams to verify load and payment details
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and payroll regulations
  • Perform general administrative duties as needed to support the team

Requirements

  • Previous experience in payroll, administrative support, or accounting is an asset
  • Basic accounting knowledge and strong numerical skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in calculations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
