Who We’re Looking For:
- Registered Automotive Service Technician Apprentice
- Completed first‑year apprenticeship training
- Strong foundational understanding of automotive mechanics
- Detail‑oriented with good work habits and time‑management skills
- Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast‑paced service environment
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills
- Physically capable of performing technician duties (standing, lifting, bending, working under vehicles)
- Commitment to following WorkSafeBC rules and dealership safety standards
**Schedule:**Full‑Time; Permanent
Compensation: $19 - $24 per hour
What Your Day Will Look Like:
- Inspect and test vehicles following manufacturer inspection checklists
- Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs, including oil changes, brake service, and tire installations
- Learn advanced repair techniques under the guidance of experienced Technicians
- Assist with diagnosing mechanical issues and recommending repairs
- Prepare labour and parts estimates with support from the Service team
- Test vehicles before and after repairs to ensure quality and safety
- Maintain a clean, organized workshop and inventory areas
- Support the Service Department with additional duties as required
