Position: Data Analyst

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid - Onsite/Remote)

Salary : $40 to $45 per hour

Job Type: Contract - 12 months (April 1, 2026 - March 31, 2027)

Our client is seeking a Data Analyst to support business decision-making within a high-performing Audit Operations environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong Excel and Power BI expertise who enjoys turning complex datasets into clear, actionable insights.

Your new role:

You will gather, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends and performance insights. You'll design and maintain Power BI dashboards, build automated reports, and partner with business stakeholders to translate reporting needs into meaningful visualizations.

You'll also support operational reviews, performance tracking initiatives, and help enhance data quality and reporting processes across the team.

Key requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or business analytics

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Power Query, data modeling, complex formulas)

• Strong Power BI experience (DAX, dashboard development, publishing)

• Experience working with large datasets

• Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Nice to have:

• SQL experience

• Experience in corporate or professional services environments
