About the role
School District No. 22 has a position available for a dependable, caring individual as Noon Hour Student Supervisor starting as soon as possible. This position is one hour each day (five hours per week) for the (10 month) school year and Temporary to December 19, 2025.
Under the supervision of the school principal, you will monitor, supervise and direct students during school lunch times. You will deal with minor first-aid cases as required, report incidents and complete required incident reports, infraction or safety concerns as and when required.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Grade 10
- Six (6) months previous experience in dealing with children, such as volunteering or parenting
Services will not be required on In-Service and Non-Instructional Days.
WAGE: As per Board/Union Contract
SHIFT: Noon
This is a union position, CUPE Local 5523 and the hourly rate of pay is $25.45 plus a percentage in lieu of vacation and statutory holiday pay.
While all applicants will be considered, preference will be given to qualified applicants who self-declare Indigenous ancestry.
