Information Technology Coordinator - CLC
About the role
1. Position Summary and Job Magnitude
The StarRez/IT Coordinator is primarily responsible for administration and providing support to internal staff for StarRez and any other company hardware/software related item. This may include configuration changes, support or issue resolution via HelpDesk tickets, Microsoft 365 user support, managing accounts and assisting the Systems Administrator as required.
2. Essential Functions and Basic Duties
- Responsible for the support and administration of organizational databases (StarRez), ensuring data integrity, security, and performance under guidance of the Senior IT Analyst.
- Provide support for hardware, software, network, and telecom issues or other tasks as requested via HelpDesk
- Testing, development, and deployment of new features that are approved CLC initiatives
- Liaise between different internal departments, properties and external support centres to ensure issues are resolved
- Staff training and guidance as required
- Assist the Systems Administrator in managing/supporting all facets of M365
- Identify strategies to ensure that software systems are utilized as efficiently as possible and to their full potential

4. Qualifications
Education: Recognized College Diploma, University Degree, or equivalent
Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year industry experience within a CLC operation
Skills/Abilities: Strong communication skills and ability to explain procedures in simple, concise terms
Ability to prioritize and organize
Strong understanding of CLC software utilized and Residence operational procedures
Familiarity with SQL or other database platforms
Strong MS Office capabilities
Understanding of network topologies, LAN, WAN and supporting networks
Project management skills include detailing timelines and project tasks
Keen attention to detail and analytical skills
5. Working Conditions
Hours per Week: Scheduled 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday business hours with occasional after-hours/weekend calls
Indoor/Outdoor: Indoor/Office
Level of Interruption: Very high level of interruption Stress Level: Moderate overall stress level Travel
