As Venue Maintenance Crew, Park Grounds, you strive to align your work with WinSport’s six core values:

What you will be doing:
- Maintain overall cleanliness of the outside park grounds, including the track, the ski hill, AIC, and parking lots
- Parking lot management during high traffic periods
- Maintain landscape and turf maintenance for all park grounds and venues
- Snow removal, apply gravel and ice melt
- Carry out daily safety and maintenance checks
- Assist in general light maintenance duties
- Maintain and repair landscape, turf, and irrigation areas
- Demonstrate a safe work practice at all times by adhering to all WinSport safety policy and procedures and ensuring one’s own safety is preserved along with the safety of co-workers, direct reports and WinSport guests
- Other duties as assigned
What you bring:
- Aged 18+
- Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving abstract
- Enjoy working outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and initiative
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Landscaping and turf maintenance an asset
- Hand and power tool experience an asset
- Light machinery experience an asset
Work Conditions:
- Outdoor work in all weather conditions
- 30-40 hours per week
- Seasonal position from April-September

About WinSport
The Bill Warren Training Centre (BWTC) opened in January 1994. The facility provides fitness training and support services to Nordic athletes and the public. The BWTC is located at the Canmore Nordic Centre. It was the host site of the cross-country skiing and biathlon events at the 1988 Olympic Winter Games.
