We’re looking for a Maintenance 2 Ambassador to join our team and help keep our hotel safe, functional, and guest-ready. If you enjoy hands-on work, variety in your day, and being the behind-the-scenes hero — this could be the perfect fit for you.

Even though we’re currently closed for renovations, we’re getting ready for an exciting reopening — and this is your chance to be part of the team that helps bring the property back to life.

• ‍ ️ The Role

As a Maintenance 2 Ambassador, you’ll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day upkeep of the hotel. You’ll handle general maintenance tasks, respond to service requests, and help ensure everything runs safely and smoothly behind the scenes.

No two days will look the same — from repairs to troubleshooting to supporting safety standards, your work helps create a great experience for everyone in the building.

• What You’ll Be Doing
• Providing friendly, professional service to guests and fellow Ambassadors
• Completing general maintenance and repair tasks across the property
• Troubleshooting issues and keeping equipment and systems in good working order
• Reporting and addressing health, safety, and security concerns
• Ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored
• Supporting inventory tracking by reporting supply levels to the Maintenance Supervisor
• Following all Occupational Health & Safety procedures and policies
• Helping maintain a safe, secure environment for guests and staff
• Handling guest or team concerns when appropriate
• Maintaining Coast Hotels’ quality and service standards in everything you do
• Jumping in on additional duties as needed — teamwork makes it all work!
• What You Bring
• High school diploma (required)
• Minimum 2 years of related maintenance or general repair experience
• Strong understanding of tools, equipment, and maintenance practices
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Physical ability to perform maintenance duties
• Strong knowledge of health and safety practices
• Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Professional attitude and appearance
• WHMIS training is an asset
• General maintenance or trade experience is an asset
• Apprenticeship training is an asset
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• A team player who embodies Coast’s values and takes pride in accountability and quality work
