About the role

Kenaidan and Murphy are excited to announce a joint venture dedicated to bringing global innovation to infrastructure projects across Ontario.

Project Overview:
Oakville GO station provides critical transport infrastructure and requires improvements and modernization to support an increased number of passengers and enhance operational performance of the network. The project will include station building upgrades, upgraded platform works, accessibility improvements and parking lot
improvements.

The Kenaidan Murphy Joint Venture (KMJV) has been awarded the construction manager contract to help inform the detailed design, and provide construction management advice, for upgrades to Oakville GO station during the project development stage.

Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the successful planning, coordination, and execution of project activities for the Oakville GO project, with a focus on work planning, rail corridor access coordination, stakeholder communication, and project documentation to ensure safe and efficient delivery of construction works.

How will you contribute to the team?

To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Assist in developing and maintaining Work Plans in accordance with project and MX requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Construction Superintendent and Technical Manager to book flagging resources as required for the project.
  • Attend T-meetings (T-12, T-7, T-3, GO/NO-GO, etc.) as required for MX works.
  • Assist with identifying and tracking changes that may impact scope, schedule, or cost.
  • Develop a working understanding of RCAC requirements, access procedures, and corridor constraints.
  • Assist in developing Operational Plans and presentations in accordance with Work Planning Standards.
  • Support daily reporting, tracking of activities, and documentation.
  • Participate in design coordination meetings and assist with follow-ups on action items.
  • Maintain organized records of submissions, access requests, and coordination logs.

Education and Experience:

  • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.or related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in project coordination or project support roles, preferably in infrastructure or transit construction.
  • Metrolinx experience preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage documentation and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a primarily desk-based role, with occasional site visits as required.

Salary Range:
Between $75,000 - $95,000, depending on experience
