Conair is the largest, privately owned, fixed-wing aerial firefighting company in the world, operating a fleet of 70 specialized aircraft to fight forest fires. Conair is seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator on a full-time basis to join our Business Development team. Reporting to the Director, Strategic Initiatives, this is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or junior professional looking to build a career in marketing and communications, gaining international exposure within the aviation industry.
You will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of day-to-day marketing and communications activities across the organization.
In this role your duties will include the following:
- Create marketing materials including brochures, advertisements, and presentation decks
- Write and edit content such as press releases, proposals, and articles
- Develop engaging social media content aligned with corporate messaging
- Support coordination of trade shows, events, and industry conferences
- Update and maintain website content
- Assist with coordination of graphic design and video production activities
- Support the broader Business Development team with marketing and communications initiatives
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to align content to a corporate tone
- Proactive, self-starter mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong willingness to learn and grow in a professional environment
Training/Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Proficiency within Social Media platforms
- Experience with graphic design platforms considered an asset
- Experience with Canva considered an asset
